Walk the grounds where Wilbur Wright once gave flight lessons to military personnel! Housed within the property of the world's oldest and still-running airport, the College Park Aviation Museum has a collection that includes aircraft and aviation artifacts dating as far back as World War I.
This aviation museum in Maryland features exhibits as well as hands-on activities that kids will surely enjoy. When the weather's good, visitors can even have a picnic on the balcony overlooking the runway! Visit this Maryland aviation children's museum any day of the week, except on major holidays. It is open from 10 am to 5 pm, and tickets cost $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for children. Those under two get in for free!
