The Animals of the World in One Place!
Take a close look at 1,100 animals representing 319 species at Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo. Whether you like them exotic or native, big or small, furry or scaly, this zoo in Maryland has them. You'll find animals from Eurasia, North America, Africa, Latin America, Australia, and Madagascar. You can even go on an escorted truck safari--the only one you'll find in the mid-Atlantic area!
This Maryland zoo is open seasonally. Zoo hours are usually 10 am to 5 pm, depending on the weather. One-day admission tickets are priced at $14.50 for adults and seniors and $9.50 for children. Kids under three are admitted for free!
